VEN (CONCORD) — Margie, a Holstein-Friesian dairy cow from Wilton, New Hampshire, illegally voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, Judicial Watch contends.
“The cow and her handler walked into the polling place together and registered to vote as Republicans,” poll watcher David Breen explained to reporters Saturday.
“When we objected to allowing a cow to register to vote, we were told that fat shaming and misogyny were not going to be tolerated, and we were asked to leave the polling area by a representative of the City Clerk’s office.
A representative from the City Clerk’s Office who oversees elections, responded to VEN with the following statement:
“We have a voter ID law in New Hampshire, and apparently the cow produced a valid driver’s license, which was later discovered to be a forgery. We are complying with Judicial Watch’s FOIA request, and are taking steps to ensure that this sort of thing doesn’t happen again.”
Not good enough, says Wilton resident Reston St Cloud.
“It’s an open secret that barnyard animals and pets have been voting in elections in New Hampshire using fake driver’s licenses for IDs for as long as I can remember. The petting zoo here loads them onto trucks and takes them to polling stations all over the state. A chicken and two goats supposedly voted over 20 times in 2016. They always register as Republicans, but are they really Republicans? It’s impossible to say.”
