Man Dressed As Alligator Stalks Ex Wife At Villages Retirement Community!

VEN (ORLANDO) — After an acrimonious divorce, former Villages resident Rene LeBlanc, a retired contractor from Hudson, NH, who made national headlines in the 1990’s after taping back the safety on his nail gun and then mistakenly nailing first his left and then his right foot to the floor boards of a deck his was building, has been charged with one count of aggravated stalking by the Lady Lake Police Department Wednesday, after he was apprehended in an alligator suit allegedly attempting to lead a group of real alligators towards his former wife’s kayak on Lake Okahumpka.

Former exotic dancer and Everette Parkway toll collector, Ginger LeBlanc — who was awarded the couple’s condo as part of the divorce settlement — told police that she saw her former husband — who now lives in a trailer park several miles from The Villages — attempting to rally several large allegators on the shoreline by waving his pretend alligator arms and shouting “Come on! What are you waiting for? This is a no brainer! Just follow me! She’s fat and lazy and could feed all of you for a week!”

Rene LeBlanc’s new bestie, Otis.

Mr LeBlanc then allegedly jumped in the water and began swimming towards his former wife’s kayak “menacingly,” while tossing what she believed to be Slim Jims at the alligators following in his wake to encourage them.

At his arraignment Thursday morning, a contrite Mr LeBlanc said he been depressed after his divorce and was just trying to make new friends.
